ERT technology and rear adjustment
ERT, or Energy Reduction Technology, uses inserts made of advanced polymers that help manage impact energy, including rotational forces linked to the turning movement of the head. The rear dial adjusts the helmet circumference within the selected size.
Product description
The Moonlight riding helmet by JD Attack meets the requirements of EN 1384:2023 for protective equestrian helmets. The standard covers, among other things, tests of impact energy absorption, penetration resistance, structural strength and the effectiveness of the retention system that keeps the helmet on the head. The outer shell is made of PC + ABS.
Inside, ERT technology works through inserts made of advanced polymers. In a fall onto the head, forces act in different directions: besides the direct impact there are rotational forces linked to the turning movement of the head, and ERT is designed to help disperse the energy of both. ERT technology does not eliminate the risk of injury, and no helmet guarantees full protection against all injuries.
The helmet comes in two sizes: S for a head circumference of 52-56 cm and M for 56-58 cm. Measure with a soft tape directly on your head, just above the eyebrows and about 1-2 cm above the ears, around the widest part of the back of the head, keeping the tape level. The rear dial helps fine-tune the fit within a size but does not replace choosing the right size, and the strap with a classic buckle fastens under the chin.
